This Privacy Policy describes how Mercova AI, LLC (“Mercova,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit mercova.ai and its subdomains (including our client platform and payment pages), contact us, or do business with us.
Information you give us. When you fill out a contact, discovery, or demo form, book a strategy call, or become a client, we collect what you submit — typically your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything you write in a message field. If you engage us, we also collect the business and billing details needed to run the engagement and invoice you.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we receive only transaction metadata (amount, status, last four digits). Stripe's handling of your data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies (via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) to understand site traffic — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source. Our servers also keep standard access logs (IP address, request time, user agent).
We use this information to respond to inquiries and provide our services; to send invoices, receipts, and service emails; to operate, secure, and improve our website and platforms; to understand which pages and campaigns are effective; and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Stripe (payments and invoicing), Resend (transactional email delivery), Google (analytics and tag management), and our hosting infrastructure providers. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them, though analytics will no longer recognize your visit. Google offers an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics.
We keep form submissions and client records for as long as needed for the purposes above — generally the life of the business relationship plus the period required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes — and then delete or anonymize them.
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we're legally required to keep. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law. To exercise any of these, email hello@mercova.ai — we'll respond within 30 days.
We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS encryption in transit, access controls on our systems, and payment processing that keeps card data with Stripe rather than on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information accordingly.
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
